Ron: 56 years old
Ron had cartilidge removed from his right knee joint 5 years ago and has now what is called a collapsed knee. Surgery was suggested. He went for physiotherapy for 10 treatments but fluid on the knee was still there and painful.When Ron came for his treatment on the cosmolight he had constant pain in his right knee where he had fluid around the knee which cased a lot of swelling. He colud not stretch his leg out straight in front of him, he had to have support under his knee to sit in that position. He was told by a specialist he would never site with his leg stright again. He was not sleep well because of the pain.
After his 4th treament on the cosmolight, Ron returned to his physiotherapist who on examping his knee told him the fluid had gone and now the knee was ready for the suggested operation. The fluid had been on the knee for 2 1/2 months. Ron decided to carry on with the cosmolight instead of having the operation.
After the 7th treatment on the cosmolight, Ron could sit with his legs stretched out straight in front of him, needing no support. We then started treating both knees and Ron now leads an active life doing Archery and playing Badminton and also stands alot in his work. He has found no problem with his knees at all and even forgets he has ever had a problem with them. Because he is sleeping well and has no pain, he has decided not to have an unwanted operation
